Since the start in 2003, after years of constant influential 
self-development and slowly watching other favorable producers 
from surrounding areas independently breaking through the music 
industry, Milledgeville, GA native Darius knew then that he fully 
wanted to seriously take his God-given gift and passion for
making music more as a full-time career. Undergoing a name 
change in 2011 in his producer alias as well as sound production, 
Darius one day had theidea to combine his first name initial
with his birth year to create a moniker to better represent 
himself. Thus, forming "D-88".
   
   Along with his new name, skills and sound,
D-88 soon became a member of an independent label called 
"Goin' Live Entertainment," generated the brand marketing
name "Its D-88" to trademark and released an instrumental 
mixtape dedicated to it titled "i.D.88 (The Mixtape)."
 

A year after, D-88 branched off from Goin' Live Ent and started 
pursuing more his career on his own took his brand and sound 
even further by following up with the compilation project 
"i.D.88 II." Featuring a string of artists and producers all 
over from local and national to international.

   

A couple years later into November 2014 after enduring trials, 
tribulations and hardships of life and his career, D-88 triumphed
and in efforts to make up for lost time he quickly released
"i.D.88 II Part 2." An instrumental sequel to further support
the former release and brand "i.D.88 II." 

 

Early into 2015, he also started to increase his work ethic by 
heavily working with different artists and producers, releasing 
projects and singles he produced frequently.Today D-88 is 
furthering his career by continuing to work with new upcoming 
indie artists and producers who respect his craft & passion for
music. Remaining hard at work daily by building and preparing 
himself towards his future to success.
